Trinity offers many opportunities for religious, spiritual, and character growth for all age groups.
In addition to our regularly scheduled Sunday School classes (which take place from 9:30a.m. - 10:15a.m. Sundays), Trinity frequently hosts additional gatherings that provide opportunities for fellowship and spiritual development.
Adults enjoy a variety of religious and spiritual educational opportunities. Throughout the year, Trinity offers programs such as book studies, bible studies, small group discussions, and special speakers or lectures.
Similar to the children’s rotation program, but customized for the older kids, the 6th-8th graders stay busy and have fun while learning about the Word of the Lord, the basics of the Episcopal church, Bible Stories, and how to live as Christians through Jesus’ teachings. meet in the comfort of the cozy Youth Room and explore, discover, and find Christian-based solutions for issues that affect their lives at school, home, and elsewhere. We welcome all Youth and guarantee their spiritual journey will be nourished!
Trinity enjoys a vibrant and growing Children's Ministry (preK-5th grade) that provides children the opportunity to learn about Christ's love for them in a fun and caring environment.
A nursery is provided for our smallest members during all Sunday services and other services that are not family-oriented. Supervised activities for older children are also provided during these services.
Sunday School classes are offered for ages 3 and up. Fall 2005 begins a new program for grades K-5 called Workshop Cycles. The curriculum has been developed by Tracy Herzer of Leader Resources (an Episcopal education publishing company). This program is similar to Vacation Bible School "stations" and promises to be fun and educational. Come join us as a student or as a volunteer!
For children age 4 to second grade, a Children's Chapel program is offered during the 10:30 Sunday service during the school year. Our Children's Chapel program gives parents the opportunity to enjoy the sermon and children the opportunity to create a Bible-themed craft. The children return to "Big" Church for Holy Eucharist. (Parents are always welcome to bring children out of the nursery to participate in Holy Eucharist.)
Vacation Bible School
During the third week of July each year, Trinity hosts its annual Vacation Bible School. The highlight of Children's Special Event Program, our VBS week gives children age 3 to entering 4th grade to experience God's unconditional love through Bible lessons, music, craft activities, and recreation time. All VBS activities are centered around a fun-filled theme such as jungle safari, the wild west, or a camping adventure.
Family oriented special events are planned several times during the year. We have a traditional Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Party, and various events related to the seasons. The annual Parish Retreat to Camp McDowell is a family favorite that everyone looks forward to!
